The mill, operating since the 1920s, produces standard and specialty newsprint from thermomechanical pulp (historically around 700 tonnes/day) and uses its wharf in Corner Brook harbour on the Humber Arm of the Bay of Islands to load paper for export by sea and receive supplies. The facility is integrated with Kruger's adjacent woodlands operations, hydroelectric plants, and biomass cogeneration plant. The mill's own former website (cbppl.com) is no longer active; the operation is now presented under Kruger's corporate domains.
