Private marine dock serving Imperial Oil's Nanticoke Refinery on the north shore of Lake Erie, about 40 km southwest of Hamilton, Ontario. The refinery processes roughly 103,000 barrels of crude oil per day (2025) and produces gasoline, diesel, aviation fuel, asphalt, heavy fuel oil and home heating oil; about 25% of Ontario's petroleum products originate here, with output also shipped to Quebec and the United States. The dock enables movement of petroleum products by tanker and barge along the Great Lakes / St. Lawrence Seaway during the open-water navigation season, and tankers make up roughly half the vessels that call. The facility is owned and operated by Imperial Oil (majority-owned by ExxonMobil) and is not part of any Canada Port Authority.
