Ksi Lisims LNG Terminal

Gingolx (Pearse Island), BC · Private · Indigenous-affiliated · Ksi Lisims LNG · Pacific Ocean coast (Portland Inlet / Nass area), Wil Milit at north tip of Pearse Island

Ksi Lisims LNG is a proposed floating liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminal at Wil Milit, on the north tip of Pearse Island roughly 15 km west of Gingolx, on fee-simple treaty land owned by the Nisga'a Nation on the northwest coast of British Columbia. The project would build and operate up to two floating natural gas liquefaction structures exporting up to 12 million tonnes per annum (about 22.4 billion m3/year) of LNG to Asian markets, which would make it Canada's second-largest LNG export facility after LNG Canada. It is a three-party alliance of the Nisga'a Nation (site owner/environmental stewardship), Rockies LNG Partners (a group of Western Canadian natural gas producers supplying gas), and Houston-based Western LNG (development, financing, engineering and operations). As of mid-2026 it is in environmental assessment and has been designated a federally fast-tracked "nation-building" project, targeting Net Zero Ready operations by 2030.
