Kyuquot is a remote Transport Canada-owned public port located on Walters Island (Walters Cove) on the outer coast of Kyuquot Sound, on the northwest coast of northern Vancouver Island, BC. The facility is a small-craft public wharf with long mooring floats on each side, serving a remote fishing village of roughly 300 residents accessible only by boat, water taxi, or float plane; the general store and post office sit at the head of the wharf, and the dock hosts a weekly summer public market. Fishing is the predominant local industry, with tourism a growing secondary use. The port is listed as available for transfer under Transport Canada's Ports Asset Transfer Program (PATP).
