Natashquan

Natashquan is a federal public port owned by Transport Canada (Quebec Region), classified as a remote port facility serving a Lower North Shore community where marine transportation is the primary mode of transportation. The wharf is used principally by the cargo/passenger supply vessel M/V Bella Desgagnés (Relais Nordik) for the weekly resupply of the local population with general merchandise and petroleum products, on the route that calls at Havre-Saint-Pierre, Natashquan, Kegaska, La Romaine, Harrington Harbour, Tete-a-la-Baleine and Saint-Augustin. A small commercial fishing fleet also uses the port during the season. It sits on the north shore of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, roughly 400 km east of Sept-Iles.
