Picton Terminals is a privately owned deep-water bulk marine terminal on Lake Ontario (Picton Bay) in Prince Edward County, owned and operated by the Doornekamp Group of Companies since November 2014. The terminal handles a wide range of dry bulk and breakbulk cargo including road salt, aggregates and limestone granular, new and recycled scrap steel, agricultural products (wheat, corn, soybeans), containers, heavy-lift cargo, and other bulk commodities such as bauxite, gypsum, sugar and clinker. It offers stevedoring, covered and dry storage, conveyor loading (up to 1,000 MT/hour), crane loading/unloading, aggregate processing, truck hauling and towing/icebreaking services from its 300 m dock with 31 ft (9.44 m) depth, operating 24/7. A new bulk agricultural terminal is under construction in partnership with Parrish & Heimbecker (expected operational 2026), alongside proposed container and cruise-ship expansion.
