The Port of Argentia is a deepwater commercial and industrial port on the eastern shore of Placentia Bay, Newfoundland, located on a former US naval base and operated by the Argentia Management Authority Inc. It handles containers, bulk cargo, palletized products, heavy specialty items and operates cold storage, and accepts vessels up to 300 metres in length with a maximum draught of 11 metres. The port positions itself as North America's first offshore-wind monopile marshalling facility and serves offshore wind/renewables, offshore oil and gas (including platform construction work), aquaculture, and critical minerals processing. It also hosts the Marine Atlantic ferry terminal for the seasonal North Sydney (NS)–Argentia crossing.
