Port of Gros-Cacouna

The Port of Gros-Cacouna is a deepwater commercial port on the south shore of the St. Lawrence estuary that was transferred from Transport Canada to the Government of Quebec in 2020 and is owned by the provincial Société portuaire du Bas-Saint-Laurent et de la Gaspésie (SPBSG). Marine terminal operations are run by QSL, which handles wind-turbine components, forest products, and general and dry-bulk cargo year-round. The port has two berths totaling 282 m of wharf (each 141 m x 30 m) with a maximum wharf depth of 8.6 m, three warehouses, about 17,016 m2 of inside storage and over 82,000 m2 of outside storage. It is served by a nearby CN rail line (under 10 km), provincial Route 132 and Autoroutes 20/85, and a regional airport.
