Squamish Terminals is a privately operated deep-water breakbulk and general-cargo marine terminal at the head of Howe Sound in Squamish, BC, about 32 nautical miles north of the Port of Vancouver. Established in 1972, it imports and exports forestry products (pulp, lumber), steel, and project/general cargo to markets worldwide, and is directly serviced by CN Rail with intermodal/transload infrastructure. The facility has two berths, three warehouses, and specialized handling equipment. It is operated under the SSA Marine of BC brand, part of Seattle-based Carrix/SSA Marine, the largest privately held terminal-operating company in the western hemisphere; it is not within a Canada Port Authority.
